Projects

Volunteer Transcription Project
For: Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, Pittsburgh, PA

Transcribed the Personal War Sketches of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Department of Pennsylvania, Members of Col. Robert G. Shaw, Post 206, Pittsburgh. These soldiers served as members of the USCT in the War of the Rebellion. Sketches may include the date and place of birth, date of enlistment, date of discharge, company and rank.

Future projects include transcribing additional records which include Post 206 Minute and Record Books, sketches of Col. John W. Patterson Post 151, James C. Hall Post 157, John B. Clark Post 162, and the Ledger of Ladies Auxiliary for Post 162.
